World Tour Announcement: Jen and Jason Go Rogue!
We’re grabbing our flip flops, kissing our friends and families, and preparing to embark on the biggest adventure of our lifetimes.
September 13th we’re off for an 11 month journey of a lifetime. Jason and I, that is. We’re headed away from home, hitting the planes, trains, automobiles, and tuk-tuk’s to take us to places beyond our wildest dreams and wifi enabled devices ability to access. It’s going to be a blast! It’s going to be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done! We might kill each other! We’re doing it anyway!
This trip is months in the making and only possible because we decided this was what we should be doing at this point in our lives. We made a commitment to ourselves. We’re 31 and 33, not young bucks by any stretch, who have entered the, “Everyone is married with babies and homes” stage. Good work, friends! I love your babies and your happy homes. I want to bring you flowers and cakes and help you build and be stable. But, that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing for everyone, including Jason and I. We might have a family, some day. The thought right now is when we get back we explore that possibility and dig our heels in fairly swiftly if that’s what we’re called to do. Until then, we’re debt-less and hording money saved from years of working and living reasonably.
